Great lineup: Dr Lumsden, Dr Murray, Dr Elfer, Dr Page, Dr Helavaara Robertson.

Peter Elfer introduced me to the Tavistock Observation Method and sent me several articles on that particular way of observing young children. The observation is done in 3 stages:

1. the observation, noticing what is going on and also what impact that what is being observed has on observer feelings

2. the written account of the encounter written down after the observation

3. reflections in seminar group, reading out observation record and commenting on it
