Children as ‘Being and Becomings’: Children, Childhood and Temporality

The old debate used to be about 'nature' versus 'nurture'. Today arguments revolve around children as 'beings' versus 'becomings'. My take is the same as to the 'nature' versus 'nurture' debate; it is not either or. Children are 'beings and becomings'.
