One interesting point we discussed was my changing academic needs that began to surface during my APR. It was suggested that I should at this stage take time to develop my philosophical position, which could then possibly clarify other related theoretical issues. I followed this advice and started reading amongst others, Immanuel Kant and exploring the world of metaphysical thinking. At this moment in time, I would be inclined to say that I might be a deontologist more so than a consequentialist.
