A praxeological case study on transition from pre

Professor João Formosinho presented a case study on listening to children before, during and after transition to primary school, informed by their approach of Pedagogy-in-Participation.

The study in its 7th year, highlighted children's competencies in negotiating their experiences in primary school. The data was very encouraging in that it showed that the children retained their civic competence and in fact demonstrated 'civic resilience' in this more didactic environment.
