Professor Julia Formosinho and Dr Sara Barros Araujo presented a case study with a methodology centred on praxis and dense documentation in order to create novel ways of conducting holistic evaluation.
It was suggested that ways of evaluating research democratically can be done by:
reflecting on our own goals and questioning if we are congruent
use of pedagogical observation instruments, not rating scales or psychometric instruments
sharing data with participants
Creating a democratic dialogue and distributing power, allows a learning community to speak.
