I mentioned that targets and actions were put on hold, in the 1st week of January, because of the opportunity to carry out a Literature review for the Hundred Review of Reception Practice, looking at research exploring the challenges, pressures and tensions practitioners face in Reception classes in England. It involved reviewing a large amount of peer-reviewed papers and writing up my part of the literature review by the end of January. Because of this some targets and actions were not met, but this is why i have chosen to do my phD part-time, so that when opportunities arrive, I can take them.
